Requirement
More and more often, cards for disabled people are counterfeited to access limited traffic areas or to park in spots without the appropriate authorization. Roadside checks are burdensome and insufficient to counter this growing phenomenon. This is why cities need more effective, automatic verification systems that block such offenses upstream. Currently, the systems in use for controlling access to LTZ are not able to automatically recognize the CUDE (European unified disabled card). Users are required to declare in advance the license plates of the vehicles with access, which also entails a considerable workload for the offices in charge.
